Young Mayors Mackay 2024 Nominations Form

Nominations for the Mackay Youth Council are open to young people aged between 11 and 17* years of age at the time of applications closing on Sunday 9 June 2024, 5pm and living in the Mackay area.

We encourage young people with a diversity of lived experience of life in Mackay to nominate, including First Nations people, LGBTQIA+ people, disabled people / people with disability, women and non-binary people, low-income communities, people from diverse cultural backgrounds and people of colour.

You do not need to be an Australian citizen to nominate yourself. Young people both in and out of school are eligible to apply.

*Note, if you are 11 you will need to be high-school age.
