Election Ready Workshops

Gain key skills to engage in the upcoming Federal Election

SHR

Want to build your confidence in media, digital activism, and tackling disinformation in the lead up to the Federal Election? Join this series of free 90-min online workshops designed to equip young people with essential skills for participating in election campaigning—whether it’s on the ground, online or in the media.

Why should you join?

With an election coming up, now is the time to make sure your voice is heard. But misinformation spreads fast, and it can be tough to know how to make an impact. These workshops will give you the skills to cut through the noise, use media effectively, and be part of real change. Whether you’re already doing election campaigning or just passionate about an issue, this is for you.

What you’ll gain:

  • Learn how to identify and counter mis/disinformation.
  • Build confidence in engaging with the media and pitching your story to journalists.
  • Develop strategies for effective media interviews and rapid response communication.
  • Connect with other young people who want to make a difference
