Why?
With an election approaching, it was the perfect time to make sure your voice was heard. But misinformation spread quickly, and it could be tough to know how to make an impact. These workshops provided the skills to cut through the noise, use media effectively, and be part of real change. Whether you were already involved in election campaigning or simply passionate about an issue, this was for you.
What participants gained:
- Learned how to identify and counter mis/disinformation.
- Built confidence in engaging with the media and pitching stories to journalists.
- Developed strategies for effective media interviews and rapid response communication.
- Connected with other young people who wanted to make a difference.
