Young Mayors Program Assistant (Hepburn)
Savannah is the Young Mayors Program Assistant on Dja Dja Wurrung country/Hepburn Shire. Savannah and the Hepburn young people are focussing on preparing the Shire for a Youth Council in 2025.
With her other time, she works for Just Food Collective, a food justice not-for-profit she cofounded with friends. At Just Food, Savannah has coordinated research projects on food insecurity in tertiary students, global success and resilience campaigns with women agriprenuers in Gaza and currently co-coordinates a dignified, wholistic free food program in Melbourne. Savannah has a degree in Food Studies and is (slowly) completing her law degree at La Trove University.
